Micro-enterprise project helps local orphanage

What we found out

Small businesses are an integral part of the economy of Togo, West Africa. A small investment can radically change a family's financial position. The local markets are a prime example of women operating small businesses. Many of these ladies are able to feed their children and send them to school. It changes the future of their children.

How we are going to help in this project

In our ongoing effort to help the Solinyogobu Welcome Center/Orphanage achieve sustainability, Operation Lift Up is investing the creation of the farm to raise rabbits, goats and pigs. These are readily marketable products for the local economy.
